Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedian and host of a television show, is best known for her tenure as host on Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate on the environment and human rights. Annabelle Gurwitch is a critically popular actress and New York Times Bestselling Author of her memoirs, Everywhere You Go They're There I'm Seeing You Did an effort You Say Tomato I Say Shut Up and Fired! It also appeared in a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was a long-time host of the TBS show Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on various shows, including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and as the host of the sustainability series WA$TED on The Planet Green Network. She makes regular appearances for PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR as well as penning opinion pieces for the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. As an actress performing on stage, her work has earned her a place among the critics' Top Ten performances on the pages of The New York Times as in the Los Angeles Times.
