She was awarded a Sports Emmy in Miami during her time working at WTVJ-TV. She worked for WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. When ESPN2 began to be introduced that year she became one of its initial anchors. In the following three years, she quit ESPN2 for Fox Sports. She returned to ESPN in 1999, and hosts Monday Night Countdown.
