Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper who has a unique style. Baker was born to his English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. On April 22nd the 22nd of April, 1991. His parents were missionaries, and in his early years, he traveled a lot along with them. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed, while Sonia Alane, his mother, left his family when he was barely 9 years old. Baker was moved to Denver along with his father, and stayed for some time. The other kids of the neighborhood were bullies Baker because he was poor. When he reached sixth grade, Baker began to learn the art of rap. Colson Baker, also known in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22, 1990. He is known for fusing modern and alternative hip-hop with rock music in his compositions. Baker has released four mixtapes over between 2007-2010 prior to joining Bad Boy Records. Delivering lyrics with the speed of a train, this Cleveland artist experienced a remarkable increase in the latter half of 2011 as he transitioned from grinding out self-released mixtapes to working with reputed labels. In the following years, every album he released came in at #10 on the chart.
